Get to know me...
Continuously opening my parents wedding album, as a child and even to this day, I still find myself encapsulated with the connection shared between my parents. As my eyes gazed upon each photograph, I always found myself transported to a place where time stands still—a magical feeling that only photographs can hold onto forever. The significance of their marriage and the family and friends that joined in celebration, created the narrative of their wedding and love in every picture. My parents album, a treasury of memories, I held in my hand inspired me to become the person behind the lens creating this for others to cherish for a lifetime.
Truly, I feel honored to be able to provide this for my couples and their future families.

Heyn Photography is founded by John Heyn, a professional wedding photographer and high school photo teacher.
MARISSA JOINS THE RANKS
John hires his former photography student, Marissa who quickly establishes herself as a successful and in demand photographer.
MARISSA BECOMES OWNER
Marissa takes over full ownership of Heyn Photography after becoming partners
with John in 2010.
